Visiting graves is permissible in Islam to remember death and make du‘a for the deceased, as taught by Muhammad (peace be upon him). However, building structures over graves or seeking help, vows, or blessings from the dead is considered impermissible by many scholars, including Ibn Taymiyyah. Worship and supplication should be directed to Allah alone.

Hobbies, dreams, and wishes constantly change—except for those that are done for the sake of Allah. I enjoy reading books, especially on ‘Aqidah, Fiqh, the Tafsir of the Salaf, their biographies, and matters related to Manhaj. One of my major goals is to master the Arabic language and to study the classical works of the early Imams in depth. I also enjoy spreading correct Islamic ‘Aqidah and Manhaj. I love acquiring the knowledge necessary to help solve the problems of Muslims, discussing it, and conveying it to others. I like calling people to the path of Allah, and it brings me joy to see someone guided to the straight path. We are living in an age of fitnah (trials and tribulations). Therefore, our hobbies and dreams in this world should be centered around the Hereafter. The only way to recognize the fitan of this world and protect oneself from them is to seek knowledge and strive to act upon it—I do not know of any alternative path. At this moment, my dream is to have a righteous and religious wife. Because if one’s wife is devoted to the Deen, it becomes much easier to remain protected from the fitnah of this world. Alongside my interest in religious matters, I also love traveling. I enjoy visiting new places, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. I used to enjoy sports with friends—although now I rarely get the time. It was more possible during university life. I also loved teaching. During university, I taught numerous students, and even after graduating I continued teaching. While teaching, I would also invite them toward the Deen and toward prayer. In the near future, I hope to maintain a community with my friends. This is also their wish. Because staying together makes it easier to uphold matters of Deen and to maintain what is halal and avoid what is haram.
